Yesterday was my very first time to go ice skating. Rebekah has skated a couple times before, but I have never been on the ice. Although I was totally stoked to hit the ice for my double axle, the reality of slippery ice and a tiny amount of surface area on the blade were tough to overcome. Fortunately, Mommy always held my hand(s) and Rebekah was able to skate on her own, so it ended up being a blast.
Rebekah was getting so good by the end of our time.
Here is a video from far away so you can see how "fast" we went around the rink. Each lap was about 30-45 minutes!!
