Seaquest Aquarium

Rebekah:

We went to visit a new aquarium today and it was such an amazing experience.  We have seen a few aquariums before, but this one was special because we actually got to touch and play with the animals.

One of the first things we did was go into the bird enclosure.  We had some food for the birds to eat and they were so excited.  I couldn't believe how they were flying all around us.  It was amazing!

We also saw lots of different iguanas of various sizes.

When we were walking around we ran into this giant turtle.  We even got to feed him!

These are baby capybaras.  They are only 11 weeks old  - a set of brothers.  They were very soft.

Feeding the ducks was crazy.  Their bills kept pressing against our hands for the food.  We giggled so much!

The stingrays were crazy.  There were two tanks and this first one below (picture of Hannah) had this big guy named Bossy.  You can see Bossy in this picture.  He finally came up to eat out of Hannah's hand and then splashed all over the side of the tank.  Hannah was totally soaked.  She came back to feed them again a bit later and the exact same thing happened.  Bossy is soooo bossy!!

Dance Recital

Rebekah:

I love to dance.  We have enjoyed the past few months taking dance classes at this wonderful place and it has been amazing.  To finish off the semester, we got to perform in our very first dance recital.  Not only was it fun, but I did fantastic!  Hannah got to perform as well and she did great.  Enjoy!

Of course we took lots of pictures afterwards.  Mommy and Daddy didn't know they were supposed to bring us flowers.  Oops!

Hannah's 5th Birthday

Hannah:

Can you believe I am already 5 years old?  I was just born and now I'm getting so old!  Some day I will be as old as Mommy.

My birthday was tons of fun.  I got to spend the day with my parents on my actual birthday and the rest of my family came over the next day so I could open even more presents.  So much fun!

Look at my cute butterfly dress!  I'm adorable!

Believe it or not, this snap pea is my absolute favorite birthday gift and I play with him all day every day.  He is just a baby snap pea so I am his momma.

I was surprised to have a special time with Ms. Sharon.  We painted nails and then ate an ice cream cupcake.

This picture below probably looks like any other picture of me eating macaroni and cheese, but this one is decidedly different.  It's Eatzi's!  Did you know that this is my favorite food in the whole wide world?  I was so excited I was able to have my birthday dinner at Eatzi's.  Yum!

The next day was also a lot of fun.  Check out these cupcakes that Mommy made.  I told her I wanted strawberry cupcakes and she put a strawberry on every single one!

Rebekah's 6th Birthday, Part 2

Rebekah:

My birthday lasted for days, even though I was only born on one day.  We had so much fun on my actual birthday.  I woke up to MORE presents!  Mommy and Daddy came and had lunch with me at school.  The best part?  Meeting up with my friends after school to paint pottery and eat more cake.  I was so happy to see them.  We capped the night off with dinner at Eatzi's (yummy macaroni and cheese) and a trip to grab a delicious popsicle.  I am so happy to be 6!
