Christmas Day 2015

Rebekah:

Christmas is the most amazing day of the entire year.  I cannot put my excitement into words to truly express how awesome Christmas is.  And yesterday was no exception.  It was so much fun!!

First of all, I came out of my room and saw some packages under the tree.  I looked at Mommy and sheepishly asked, "Are these from Santa?  Did Santa come to our house?"  Mommy had the biggest smile and then I was so excited to know that Santa really did come to our house!  This is how it looked when I walked into the living room:

Soon the party got started and Hannah and I were unwrapping presents like crazy!

Look at this cool drill that Hannah received. It was so cool that I wanted it for myself!

I made some Christmas presents for Daddy and he had so much fun opening them!

I made one for Mommy, too.

We enjoyed playing with our toys together as a family.  Did you see our cat, Quaker, joining us for the fun?

Here are our official Christmas pictures by the tree.

Did you see Quaker in the family Christmas tree picture above this?  He is definitely a member of the family.

After we finished opening presents and playing at home we went to Grandma T's house for a super yummy lunch, and get this, more presents!!!  I loooved spending time with my cousin Kendall and the rest of my family.

From my family to yours, Merry Christmas!  May you remember the birth of Jesus and all He did for us to free us from sin.

Christmas Programs

Rebekah:

This is such a fun time of the year.  There are Christmas trees, parties for Jesus, Santa visits, and of course some excellent Christmas programs.  Hannah and I did the program from church and then I got to do a very special program with my class at school.  I did great!

Church Program:  I am the one in the red dress with the microphone covering half my face :)

School Program:  I'm the angel in the beautiful blue dress.

This one is "Go Tell it on a Mountain"

Here is "we wish you a Merry Christmas"

We can't forget our Christmas parties at school!

Heard Museum Dinosaurs

Have you ever seen a real dinosaur before??  I have!  In fact, I saw lots of real dinosaurs when we went to the Heard Museum.  Mom insisted that they weren't real, but they moved and they ROARED!!

Check out this giant T-Rex!

Butterfly Flutterby 2015

Rebekah:

I had the COOLEST experience ever.  You are never going to believe me when I tell you about this, but I went to the Butterfly Flutterby yesterday and the most amazing thing happened.  Before we get to that, though....

We started out with a butterfly craft, some delicious popcorn, and a general stand-around-and-wait for butterflies agenda.  Honestly, it was a little boring.

Finally the butterfly release happened and all the butterflies started heading to Mexico.  I was so bummed because I wanted a butterfly, but none of them were stopping around us.

Then we spotted one on a carseat.  We finally got to look at it up close and personal.  Then suddenly, the butterfly flew to my arm and landed on me!  Seriously!  It landed on me!  At first I jumped a little, and then I got really excited.  I later told Mommy that it kind of itched a little when he was holding onto my arm.

On our way out, we stopped by some pumpkins for a few pictures.
