On Wednesday, I decided that it was time to reveal to the world these famous words:
dadaddbaaadadadadadabadbabaaa
Yaaaay!! I'm fluent in babble. Mommy and Daddy were so excited that they wanted to capture my skills on camera. You can see in this clip that I only give them the abbreviated form before switching to my other favorite language - gurgly speak. At the end, I see Mommy behind the camera and have to smile at her. She is so happy.

Peas and thank you
I have really come a long way with table feeding since I first began. Look at Exhibit A, the first time I tried peas when I was about 7 months old:
I thought they were so gross. I couldn't even swallow with those icky peas on my tongue!
But things have really changed. Check out this video of me eating a combo of peas/pears/butternut squash. Now THAT is the way to eat peas!!

My First Christmas 2011
Yesterday was my very first Christmas, and I had so much fun. There was a lot of paper for me to rip through and play with, but bows and tissue paper were my favorites. I can't believe how generous people were to give me such wonderful gifts. I can't wait until Jesus has another birthday party so we can do this again!
This was my first gift, one from Mommy and Daddy.
Once I got all that paper off, Mommy showed me how to play with my new toy. It makes lots of fun sounds!
Then we went over to Aunt L's house and there were millions and millions of presents all for me! This ribbon was a blast.
After that, I opened Grandma B's present.
I'll finish this post with a short video of me playing with Mommy and Daddy's gift to me. I know I'm going to enjoy this for hours and hours and hours and hours to come!

I'm bouncing and moving on my tummy.
Today was a huge day for me. I learned that I can bounce in the Exersaucer. I had no idea! Why has everybody been holding out on me all these months? Check out my bouncing skills:
I also showed off my new belly-scooching skills across the living room floor. I just started doing this on Thursday 12/15, so it's still pretty new for me. I'm hoping I can go forward at some point, but for now this is pretty exciting.

It's a Gymboree Day!
Today was my last trip to Gymboree for a while. I have been going there about two months, but it was time to move on. The first few trips were really scary for me. I cried. The parachute was overwhelming, and there were tons of babies and adults singing and playing. It was just too much. But since then, I've come to love that parachute and seeing my baby friends. For today's class, we got to do an art project. It's my first project since doing the ink footprints in the hospital when I was born. Check it out!
The antlers are my hands and the nose is my right foot. Isn't my foot super cute?
Here is a picture of me during play time at Gymboree today. This would have been more fun if I could crawl.
Mommy says that we might do Gymboree again some time in the future. I sure hope so!

All I want for Christmas is my one front tooth
I did it! I think I finally have my very first tooth. Mommy and Daddy noticed it last night after I was crying nonstop. It's about the four bazillionth time they have stuck their fingers in my mouth to look for a tooth over the past few months, but this time I really gave them something to smile about. I fooled them back in September when I ran a low-grade fever for a month. The doctors said I was teething, but I think I was just trying to throw them off their game. Mommy said I'm "cutting a tooth", but in babyspeak, that is code for "Waaaaaa!!! It hurts!!"
Mom tried really hard to get a picture of my tooth, but I managed to hide it perfectly! I'm so proud.
