Aquarium Visit

A few weeks ago Mommy came across an awesome coupon that allowed all 3 of us to visit the nearby aquarium for $20.  She's so thrifty like that.  Anyways, as soon as I walked it I saw some sting rays and was beyond excited.

 

We saw so many fun sea creatures, like this giant turtle.

 

Mommy tried really hard to get a cute picture of us together, but this was the best we could do.

 

Here we are looking over some little turtles from above.  Unfortunately the turtles swam away before this picture.

And last but not least were the jellyfish.  Mommy had to keep explaining that jellyfish sting and we can't touch them.  But they looks so cool!  How could they possibly sting me?

 





Snow Event 2015

I have been waiting all winter to finally get a snow event, and it finally happened.  You may remember the ice storm from last year: http://musingsofbaby.blogspot.com/2013/12/ice-storm-2013.html

Well, this was nothing like that.  Mommy didn't get to wear her ice skates and I certainly was not pulled in a clothing basket.  With that said, this was real fluffy snow!

We went out in the morning and played our little hearts out.  There were at least 15-16 flakes on the ground!

That afternoon, we went back outside and whoa, that was some serious Texas snow!  My favorite thing to do was to grab a handful of snow and throw it into the air.  That became Hannah's favorite thing, too.

The next day things got iced over, so the snow became really crunchy.  You can watch this video to see how Hannah felt about crunchy snow:

We all had such a great time, but I will definitely treasure this photo that Mom took.  It's my favorite!

Singing Hannah

Just a few days ago, I developed my "voice".  Sure, I've been able to speak and babble for some time, but carrying a tune besides a little bit of my ABCs or Wheels on the Bus hasn't really happened.  Until now.

I started singing this tune the other day and Mommy immediately grabbed her camera.  She thought she could figure out what I was singing, but when I threw in the word "Daddy", she became pretty perplexed.  I think she's starting to figure out that I'm composing music out loud!

 

Then the very next day I was sitting alone and playing with some window stickers when I busted out this tune.  Once again, Mommy grabbed her camera and started recording.  She now tells me that it took her about 15 seconds into the recording before she realized I was singing "Let it go".  Once she hit stop, I stopped singing, and that was that.  Mommy has since become slightly obsessed with this video and thinks it's further proof that she has the cutest kids ever.
