10 months and on the move!

I am now officially 10 months old.  I celebrated my birthday on Sunday by doing something really cool - CRAWLING!  I finally figured it out.  It was a little rough on the first day, but the second day was much better.

Here is day 1:

Here is day 2 - see the improvement?

Here is a picture of me in the "crawling pose".  Notice the hurricane effect that I now have on everything.

Now the real fun begins.  I have my sights set on something furry with a tail.....

Babies are cuter with bows in their hair.

It's official.  All babies, including me, are so much cuter when you put a bow in their hair.  Mommy doesn't do this to me very often, but when she does she just stares at me and smiles all day.  She also mumbles something about how cute I am every other sentence.  She's right!  I'm adorable.  Check out some pictures.

Now it's official.  Babies are cuter with bows.  Don't you agree?

How I have been spending my time lately....

I'm sure you are wondering how I spend my time these days.  There are naps, games, food, milk, and of course lots of hugs from Mommy and Daddy.

I am starting to eat a few finger foods.  Here is a picture of me eating a cheerio.  You wouldn't believe the complexity involved in grabbing some food, aiming it for my mouth, shoving my fist in, and then letting go BEFORE taking my fist out of my mouth. It's a lot of work!

I still like playing in my exersaucer.  Bouncing is my new favorite activity.

I still like making new sounds and playing with my feet.  My feet are my most favoritist toy ever!  In fact, I've decided that I'm never going to hold my own bottle because it's a perfect opportunity to sit in Mommy's lap and play with my feet.  Pure joy!

I can stand up a little if I'm holding onto something (and Mommy or Daddy are RIGHT behind me).  I like the couch because it's easy to grab.  Unfortunately, I have fallen a few times, and due to my awesome double twist trick, I've outsmarted the parents and fallen to the floor.  Ouch.  Triple ouch.

Crawling is something that still eludes me, but it will come in time.  I keep practicing and preparing!

Last, but not least, is just some good ol' fashioned toy time.  I love my toys.  And I love playing with them all together at the same time.  Life is good.
