Spring Program 2015

Rebekah:

Hannah and I just finished performing in our Spring Program at school.  We did so great.  Mommy and Daddy couldn't stop smiling at us.  Even Hannah's class got to perform!

It was a little tough to hear Hannah's class singing, because they are so quiet, but this first one was the "happy if you know it" song.

 

 Look at the cute butterfly on her shirt that she made out of her hands!

Then they sang some song about "saw, saw, saw, chop, chop, chop."  Mommy is not familiar with this classic, but I actually sang it last year at my program.  You can see Hannah yawning.  Isn't she cute?  You can also see her toward the end looking down to make sure she was standing exactly on her X.  And then in the final one second of the whole thing, she smiles and says "Daddy" when she seems him in the audience.

Next it was my turn to let my voice shine. 

You can hear how much louder my class is, and how confident we are.  This was our first song, and once again Mommy is not familiar with this classic.  The arm movements alone are totally adorable!!  The song says that God is bigger than big and stronger than strong.  It also has this super awesome part about how He made the tree grow so tall.  Enjoy!

Now this next song is actually recognizable to the adults.  "He's got the whole world in His hands"

 

 

We had such a great time with our spring program, and we are so thankful that all of our family was there to watch (and take video!).  What a special day.



Easter 2015

Rebekah:

Easter this year was full of fun and celebrations.  Most importantly, I continued to learn more about who Jesus is and how he came back to life after he died.  It's still really confusing, but I know that Easter is fun and that Jesus loves me.

We did a church wide Easter egg on Good Friday.  First we learned a little about Jesus on the cross.  You can see that Hannah was really hoping her basket would have some eggs in it, but they were still empty during story time.

Then we got to hunt for Easter eggs.  It was really fun because Hannah and I got to go at the same time.  She did so good.  It was really sunny outside, so Mommy had a tough time with pictures.

On Saturday we got to do another Easter egg hunt at our subdivision.  They had a super cool bounce house, fun crafts, even balloon animals.  I quickly learned that those adorable fun balloon animals pop if they come within 3 feet of the grass.  Geesh.

Here is the aforementioned balloon animal in the shape of a butterfly.  I cannot remember if this was balloon 1 or balloon 2, if you know what I mean.

Then it was my turn to go with the big kids and collect my eggs.  Notice how much speed I have gained over the past few years:

After all those egg hunts, it was finally Easter Sunday.  We got to wear our pretty dresses and get some fun presents before church.

If you are wondering why we are sitting on the arms of the chair in the pictures above, it's because we were riding our bicycles there!  Look at our fun baskets!

In the video below, you can see a ball that Hannah received for Easter.  She was soooo excited, and yet she hasn't touched it since!

Later that day, we went to Grandma B's and Pop's house.  They gave us singing Easter cards.  So fun.

Sharkarosa Ranch - Hannah's First Time

I am so excited to tell you about our recent trip to Sharkarosa Ranch.  I have been there twice before, but this trip was special because Daddy and Hannah joined us.  We had so much fun.  Here is the blog from my first trip: http://musingsofbaby.blogspot.com/2014/04/sharkarosa-wildlife-ranch.html

First on my list was to ride the pony.  I really wanted to ride, but then I got scared.  So we went away for a while and came back.  Then I was even more determined to do it.  So I did.  Hannah really wanted to ride the pony as well, so we got to do it together.

Next was the Safari train.  We saw zebras, a zorse, some llamas, a bunch of horses, and of course some one-hump camels.  Hannah really loved it on the train, but she was a little nervous about petting the animals.  I kept her safe, though.

A trip to Sharkarosa wouldn't be complete without a ride on the barrel train.  That thing is so bumpy, but luckily Mommy kept us safe.  I held on tight to Hannah to make sure she was safe, too.

We stopped at Chick Fil A on the way home for lunch and then had a fun afternoon.  I'm so glad that Daddy and Hannah came with us this time.  I can't wait to go back again.

Happy 4th Birthday!

Rebekah:

This is going to be my best year yet.  I'm FOUR!  Can you believe how time flies?  I'm getting taller, learning more things, and growing more and more every day.  I just celebrated my birthday and wanted to share all of the fun with you.

Here I am waiting on my family to arrive.

 

Then it was time for CAKE!!

Then we all ate our cupcakes.  So yummy.

 

Then it was time to open presents.  I am really good at opening the various packages, but I do like to be precise when removing tissue paper or wrapping paper.  Once I get everything removed, I get super excited.

 

 

This present below was one of my absolute favorites.  It's a toy cat that meows and moves.

 

As you can see, I had a great time with my family celebrating my 4th birthday.  I can hardly wait until I turn 5!
