Hannah's 4th Birthday

Hannah:

Can you believe that I had another birthday?  It took sooooo long to get here, but it finally came and now I am 4 years old!  I celebrated my birthday in a few pieces.  First, I got to open presents from Mommy and Daddy on my actual birthday.  Then I got to have a little party at my preschool with delicious cupcakes from Mommy.  And last, I celebrated with more of my family on Saturday and got to open even more presents!  Oh, and eat more cupcakes too :)

Time for presents!

Now it's play time.

Check out these cupcakes that I was able to share with my friends at school.  So delicious.

Now it's the day for the family celebration.  See, more cupcakes!!

We started out the festivities with the best part.  I love the birthday song.

There was this one piece of icing that I just could not get to go inside my mouth.  I had to find a way.

More presents!

Now that all the presents are open, we get to play with our fun new toys.

My birthday was literally the best day of my whole entire life.  I was filled with joy and loved everything about it.  My presents were great, but I also enjoyed time with my family and some yummy cupcakes.  I really am 4 now!

First Build a Bear Trip

Hannah:

Today was so fantastic.  Mommy surprised me with a trip to Build a Bear.  To be honest, I had never heard of the place, but when Mommy started describing it, I was totally sold.  I mean, I get to stuff my very own bear and take it home?  Mommy did warn me that it was $5 bear day and I could only pick the "sale" bear, but since I was so excited to be there, I totally agreed.

Good thing we got there before the store opened.  There was already a long line.  Once we began, I immediately picked out my bear.  Definitely a bit floppy.

Look at these strings!  Ooooohhhh.

We spent lots of time in line, so we played a little.

Look at her heart I picked out.  I had already picked out her name while in line, so I knew she was a girl at this point.  I kissed the heart, gave it snuggles and hugs, and then placed it on my belly and my head before putting her heart inside of her.

Here is the stuffing time!

Then they had a pretend washing station.  I brushed her "hair" and gave her a pretend bath.

Then she saw herself in the mirror for the first time.  Introducing Anna!!!  (Rhymes with Hannah)

Then she got this super cool little house to go home in.  This box has been as much fun as she is.

Mom was really happy about our experience together.  Yes we were sad that Rebekah couldn't come, but it was a special day.  Mommy said she really enjoyed spending her $5.41 today and that it was more than worth it!
