17 Months is a Lot of Fun

Hannah:

I am almost a full 1.5 years old and am having a blast.  I'm playing with my sister a little more these days, even though it might not be her favorite thing.  I'm "talking" up a storm, but I still don't say any words besides "uh-oh" and "dada".  I am a great listener and love running after Mommy when she tells me it's time for a clean diaper or to change my clothes.  I'm not as great of a listener when Mommy uses that awful word "no".  I wish she would stop that.  If I had my way, I would play with the blinds all day long, rip the tail off of our cute kitty, and use all the rugs in the house as blankets.  Mom is so boring!

I like going down the slide:

I also like trying to get on the slide in any possible way:

I like taking naps:

Waking up always looks pretty interesting on top of my head!

I like to attempt talking, which I do all day every day.  Primarily, I just babble with the occasional "dada".

I like sitting in the little Princess chair, but only for about 5 seconds until it's time to get up and play again.

Once I had a great day where I kept climbing up on the couch.  I haven't been working on that skill quite as much lately, but it's a great skill to have!

I like playing with my sister....sometimes.

A few days ago, Grandma T brought over some sunglasses for Rebekah.  She loved them so much that she wanted to share and put them on my face - all by herself!

Mommy likes to dress us in matching outfits on occasion.  This is from Valentine's Day.

I like going to birthday parties and playing in a sandbox:

I also enjoy playing with our little "house" in the play room.  I recently discovered how to put the balls in the chute and get it to play music.  Then I do a little dance:

I'm also getting pretty good at standing on things I'm not supposed to stand on.  Do you hear me giggle with glee?

I enjoy getting to sit with Daddy.

I like Mommy too!

Sometimes I'm just a ham.

And that is everything you need to know about me at 17 months.  I'm just precious, aren't I?
