My Weekend

I had a fun weekend, although there was nothing spectacular about it.

First, we started off with breakfast at Joe's.  Mommy says I've been eating here since I was in the womb, and apparently Mommy starting eating here when she was in Grandma's womb.  This place was fun, even though she wouldn't share her food with me.  Can you believe my parents let me out of the house with bed-head that was THIS bad?  Geesh.

We also went to Target to pick up some groceries.  I wanted to play with all the food, so I finally convinced Mommy to let me have the lettuce.  It was so much fun!

I managed to do something new to show off to Mommy and Daddy.  I stood up on my very own and Mommy was able to grab the camera and capture my very first event!  I thought it was so much fun until I realized I couldn't get back down.
After Mommy realized the power of my ability to stand on my own, she went to the crib and lowered the mattress.  I'm not sure why she was so stressed and sweaty, and why she kept using the word "debacle" but I adjusted to my new mattress height just fine.  I think "debacle" means "really fun project".  Right?

I had lots of fun playing with my toys.

In the picture below, you will see what I was smiling at.....

Once I identified my absolute FAVORITE toy, I headed that way.  Pure glee!

After my toy ran away, I went back to playing with my other toys.

And dumping out my toy box.

I did more than just play with my toys this weekend.  I went to church and had an awesome time in the nursery.  I'll be honest, I'm just really not keen on the nursery at church and boy does Mommy know it!  But this time, it was fun, and Mommy and Daddy got to sit through an entire service!  Praise God.

I also got to practice my walking skills.  Mommy found this toy for $5 and I told her it was the best $5 she ever spent!

See, just a regular weekend around our house, but it was lots of fun!
